"On the occasion of the 26th anniversary of Independence of Ukraine Institute of Political and Legal and Religious Studies will hold a series of law educational  measures. In particular, tours for students will be organized to government agencies, law enforcement agencies, where they can get acquainted with their activities. In addition, the Coordination Council of Young Lawyers of Ukraine will hold the National Contest of Scientific Works "Civil Society: World Traditions and National Reality", which will be attended by students and graduate students of higher educational institutions.

And professional lawyers and lawyers will provide citizens with free primary legal aid. Such events are held several times a year in Ukraine in order to increase the level of legal culture of Ukrainians. After all, to know your rights means to be able to protect yourself, "said Darya Piddubna, the head of the Department of Civil Law Disciplines at the Law Faculty of the Donetsk Juridical Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

According to statistics, Ukraine is leading  in Europe with regard to the number of violations of citizens' rights. After all, a quarter of all lawsuits in the European Court of Human Rights (over 18 thousand) refer to Ukraine. In today's realities, this figure is not surprising to experts, but human rights defenders are bored that people have no desire to defend their rights in their everyday lives. "
