EP to vote for visa suspension mechanism Dec 15

The debate on the suspension mechanism in the European Parliament will be held on Wednesday. As reported, the European Parliament Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs at the meeting December 8 supported the suspension mechanism for a visa-free regime between the EU and third countries. Earlier that day, EU Ambassadors confirmed the agreement between the EU Council and the European Parliament about the "visa waiver suspension mechanism".
