Cabinet of Ministers takes care of clean environment and social protection for Ukrainians

Ukraine and the United Nations have signed the Partnership Framework for 2018-2022, an Interfax-Ukraine correspondent has said.

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Economic Development and Trade Stepan Kubiv and UN System Coordinator in Ukraine Neal Walker signed the relevant document on November 30.

The program foresees the signing of a new strategic document for five years for further funding by UN agencies, funds and programs.

UN assistance will be provided in four areas of partnership: 1) sustainable economic growth, environment and employment; 2) equitable access to quality and inclusive services and social protection; 3) democratic governance, rule of law and civil participation; 4) human security, social cohesion and recovery with a particular focus on eastern Ukraine.

The approximate amount of resources to be invested in the implementation of the Partnership Framework is about $675 million.
