The Verkhovna Rada failed to repeal the law on medical reform that was adopted on October 19.

Only 45 people's deputies voted for the corresponding draft while the the minimum required- 226 votes, according to the portal dt.ua.

The authors of the draft resolution on the abolition of medical reform (a group of deputies of Opposition bloc) argue the need for such a decision stating that the law on financial guarantees for the provision of medical services was adopted with a "gross violation of the requirements of the Constitution and the Rules of Procedure of the Verkhovna Rada."
Speaker Andriy Parubiy, after a failed vote, said that now the law on the medical reform can be signed.
