Law-enforcers seize by storming Svyatoshinsky district court

30 supporters of leader of the "Volunteer Movement of the OUN" Mykola Kokhanivsky were detained in the Svyatoshinsky district court of Kyiv.

This was disclosed by Head of the National Police Department of Kyiv Andriy Krischenko. The activists who defend Kokhanivsky used the existing furniture to block the entrance to the courtroom when the police arrived. Activists broke the furniture used it to try to push back the law-enforcers.Then the police were forced to use tear gas. After that, Kokhanivsky's supporters began to break windows. As a result, they stayed in the courtroom overnight.

The detainees were transferred to the Shevchenkivsky district police department. After the break, the court continued its session to select a measure of restraint for Kokhanivsky, who was detained on October 21 after disorder in Kyiv. During a personal conflict near the Akademmistechko metro station he opened fire from a pistol, causing injuries to his opponent.

It should be added that during the detention in the court, law -enforcers were beating all , including the media workers. Several media outlets have already reported about the beatings and damage to the equipment of their journalists, in particular, the UNIAN agency.
