A high level of fire hazard is expected in most regions of Ukraine in the coming days. Rescuers call on citizens to comply with fire safety rules while staying in forests, parks, open areas. Human negligence is the main cause of fires.
Thus, in the Lviv region this year there were already registered almost 600 fires in ecosystems, which is 30 percent more than it was at this time last year.
Fires in ecosystems are most dangerous, because they destroy nature, and toxic substances released during combustion are extremely harmful to human health, said Head of the city's Department of Ecology and Landscape Planning Andriy Galushka.
