In Mariupol direction, the enemy used grenade launchers, infantry fighting vehicles and 12omm mortars to shell Ukrainian strongholds near Novotroitske (32km south of Donetsk). ATO troops also came under 122mm artillery and 120mm mortar fire outside Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk). In Donetsk direction, militants shelled Ukrainian positions in Troitske (69km west of Luhansk), Avdiivka (18km north of Donetsk) and Butovka coal mine (11.4km north-west of Donetsk), using 122mm artillery, mortars and tank. In Luhansk direction, ATO troops came under 120mm fire in Krymske (42.5km north-west of Luhansk). Militants also used mortars and heavy machine guns to fire at Novooleksandrivka (65km west of Luhansk).
