Ukraine to launch some more trains to Europe in 2017

As reported, Ukrzaliznytsia, the state-run railway company, launched a high-speed train from Kyiv through Lviv in western Ukraine to Przemysl in Poland this past December. The fare from Kyiv to Przemysl spans between 14 and 20 US dollars, depending on class of the seats. Another train route is being considered to Poland. Besides, according to the Minister, another train this year is planned from the town of Mukacheve in western Ukraine to Budapest, the capital of Hungary. “We are considering another one to Slovakia. During several last years it turned out that "train number one" was that to Moscow, but there should be one to Europe. And we are striving for this," Omelyan said.
