The Finance Ministry pointed out that, taking into account the legal and time limits, in case of failure to reach a joint agreement on debt restructuring, "Ukraine will be forced to use alternative mechanisms to finance its program of cooperation with the IMF." As reported, on August 4, the Finance Ministry sent the updated proposal on debt restructuring to the special committee of creditors and urged it to participate in a meeting in London on August 6.
