One Ukrainian soldier killed in conflict zone in past day

ATO forces suffered these losses in Donetsk and Mariupol directions – mostly near Horlivka, Donetsk and Starohnativka. According to the military spokesman from 10 p.m. to midnight militants were shelling Ukrainian positions near Avdiivka and on Verkhnotoretske.  In Artemivsk direction militants used BM-21 “Grad” multiple rocket launchers to shell the positions of ATO forces in Troitske. In Luhansk region from terrorists were shelling Stanytsia Luhanska with 120mm mortars and grenade launchers. Over the past day the enemy violated the ceasefire a total of 95 times. Ukraine warned the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission that the Ukrainian army may start using artillery systems in response to militants' massive attacks, said military spokesman Vladyslav Selezniov. "In keeping with the established procedure, we've informed the OSCE SMM, the OSCE's Kyiv office, our Western partners through [the channels of] the Ministry of Foreign Affairs that militants continue violating the Minsk agreements, therefore we reserve the right to use artillery systems when our positions are attacked," Selesniov noted. He added that the situation remains under control of the ATO headquarters and the headquarters in the sector.
