The Cabinet intends to reduce gas price by upgrading gas production in Ukraine. This was stated during a meeting of the Conciliation Board of the Parliament by First Vice Prime Minister Stephen Kubiv. He informed that the production of "blue fuel" fell from of 67 billion cubic meters to 20, and each year is reduced by half a billion cubic meters. The Cabinet intends to remedy this situation and to restore the volume extraction thanks to new technologies, said First Deputy Prime Minister.
From May 1, the government set a uniform price of gas for consumers - 6879 UAH.
